Do I need a Plex Pass to use Bunny Ears TV?

No. Bunny Ears TV works with any free Plex account. A Plex Pass is not required.

What Apple TV models are supported?

Bunny Ears TV supports Apple TV 4K (all generations) and Apple TV HD running tvOS 17 or later.

Is my viewing data collected?

No. Bunny Ears TV does not collect viewing data, library metadata, or personal information beyond your Plex authentication token. Everything stays on your server.

What happens after the beta?

Beta testers get early access and will be the first to know when the app launches on the App Store. Basic channels will be free forever. Paid channel packages will include a 14-day free trial.

How is this different from ErsatzTV or dizqueTV?

Those tools require Docker containers and server-side configuration. Bunny Ears TV is a native tvOS app. Install it on your Apple TV, sign in with Plex, and 200+ channels are ready in under two minutes. No server setup, no IPTV playlists, no technical overhead.

Can family and friends use it too?
