The built-in lineup handles broad moods and familiar genres. Custom Channels are for the shelf only you would program: a comfort-show loop, a director marathon, family home videos, or October horror.

Choose a channel name, icon, guide color, and number in the 700 to 999 range.
Run items in order or shuffle, and use episode blocks so one series does not own the day.
Signal 01
Create the source in Plex, then finish the station inside Bunny Ears TV. There is no Docker container, M3U export, IPTV player, or separate channel server to maintain.
Bunny Ears TV+ supports up to 300 custom channels. You can reorder them, refresh a single source, and preserve the existing schedule when a temporary source refresh fails.
Signal 02
Reordering custom channels preserves their existing programs and favorites. Deleting one removes only that Bunny Ears TV channel. It does not delete a Plex playlist, collection, library, or media file.
When an underlying Plex source disappears, Bunny Ears TV can remove the orphaned custom channel without changing anything on the server.
Good to know
Custom Channels require Bunny Ears TV+. They use video sources from the selected Plex server and occupy channel numbers 700 through 999.
