Signal 01
Instead of leaving the guide for a separate forecast app, tune to channel 20. It presents local conditions in a continuous television format and stores the location choice on the device, where it can match the room or trip that device belongs to.
Weather supports System, Fahrenheit, and Celsius units. Apple Weather attribution and legal data-source access are built into the experience.
Signal 02
Weather on 20 can draw a smooth soundtrack from the selected Plex music library. It prefers jazz when suitable tracks exist, falls back to other appropriate music, and continues silently when it cannot find a fit.
On iPhone and iPad, active background playback can publish Weather and current soundtrack information to system Now Playing surfaces.
Good to know
Weather on 20 does not support DVR seeking, program restart, or Ad Bumpers. Location permission and Apple Weather availability affect the forecast.
